Ready to take a fresh look at an older brand?
The first real business suit I ever bought came from Talbots Woman, what I remember as the name of Talbot’s plus-sized store. My size was 16+, so regular misses sizes were too tight for my juicy hips. Talbots offered pretty, feminine workwear styles in sizes that fit my curves.
Since then, I’ve always had a special place in my heart for the brand and I’ve often wandered through their store just wishing to find something that inspired me. But usually, I’ve left empty-handed and a smidge sad for what the brand had become.
In the early 2000s, Talbots parked the style truck at the Golden Agers Club, and it became that favorite store your grandmother would shop at, with too many capri pants, ugly purple prints, and nylon pussy-bow shirts.
Something has changed and we are here for it!
This season we’re seeing peeks of fresher styles, more modern cuts, and cool details.
